“A Call to Listen” is a chance for us to listen to one another and rediscover the essential unity of the Body of Christ….Instead of talking about each other, “A Call to Listen” provides a way for Episcopalians to talk to each other as fellow Christians. This is not an effort to convert or convince, but to converse. We will offer a “safe container” for all perspectives to be shared and honored. I hope you will consider being part of this endeavor. +G. Porter Taylor
Lambeth 1998 called us all ‘to listen to the experience of homosexual persons.’ At our own 2007 Convention, Liturgy and Music’s report on Resolution #10 included a commitment to involve the whole diocesan family ‘more broadly’ in this conversation. We all need an effective way—and a sacred and safe space—to have this conversation.
"Our belief is that a sincere pursuit of truth, done collaboratively, ultimately opens us to the mind of God." --Urban Holmes, "What Is Anglicanism"
